Sustainability is a fundamental principle that drives our operations, ensuring that every aspect of our business aligns with
responsible and eco-friendly practices. We believe that small yet meaningful steps contribute to a greater global effort, and
we follow a holistic three-pillared approach to sustainability which will focus on our Products, Processes and our Community initiatives.
Product
Our goal is to develop high-quality products that minimize environmental harm while maintaining functionality and
cost-effectiveness. We achieve this by prioritising sustainable materials, including recycled paper, FSC-certified
paper, biodegradable polymers and recycled resins. By integrating these materials into our production, we ensure
that our packaging solutions are not only aesthetically appealing but also safe for the planet. Additionally, we
have successfully introduced innovative products such as Kraft & Paperboard Hangers, as well as 100% Compostable and
Water soluble bags, offering businesses eco-conscious alternatives without compromising on durability or design.
Process
To enhance sustainability within our operations, we have implemented robust waste management and recycling programs,
striving for a zero-waste production cycle. Each year, we process over 100 tonnes of in-house plastic waste,
converting it into recycled resins that can be repurposed in our manufacturing. Our commitment to renewable
energy is evident through our extensive solar and wind power initiatives, which generate 300% more energy than
we consume, with the surplus being supplied to the national electricity grid. Furthermore, we actively promote
digital documentation and paperless processes to reduce unnecessary waste and improve operational efficiency.
Community
Beyond environmental sustainability, we are devoted to uplifting the communities around us through social
initiatives. We provide employment opportunities for local women, empowering them with financial independence
and a stable livelihood. Additionally, we contribute to various charitable organizations, including Akshaya
Patra's Mid-Day Meal Scheme, which ensures underprivileged children receive nutritious meals. We also support
the Saamarthya Foundation in spreading awareness about drug addiction among at-risk youth and work with the
Rajasthan Youth Educational Trust to improve education for disadvantaged children. At Termoplast, we believe
that true sustainability encompasses not only environmental responsibility but also social development, ensuring
a brighter future for all.
